Cornwall Works 50+ and 50+ Cares Innovation Projects
Cornwall Works 50+ and 50+ Cares is tasked with addressing issues of both overcoming barriers to work and improving skills of people aged 50 and over. A key element in the two programmes are the Innovation Grants - small investments in new ways to develop and provide this support. These innovations will last for a year or less, will be evaluated for their individual practice, success and areas for improvement, and assessed to gauge their potential for mainstreaming into existing organisations and delivery programmes.
The following links show the wide range of initiatives currently under way across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and are delivered through community interest companies, social enterprises, charities and voluntary groups. The Innovation Programme investments are already addressing a wide range of issues such as mental ill health, wellbeing, sector specific skills, volunteering, motivation and confidence building.
